The ITA Therapeutic Use Exemption Assistant serves as a tool to assist athletes and other individuals in understanding the requirements to apply for and obtain a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE). It is important to note that the TUE Assistant is provided solely as a guide, and it is the individual responsibility of each athlete to verify and confirm their own TUE requirements. The ITA cannot be held accountable for any inaccurate information or errors that may be displayed in the results of the TUE Assistant, including but not limited to those possibly resulting from incorrect information inputted into the TUE Assistant or the misinterpretation of its results.
Using the TUE Assistant does not guarantee neither the acceptance of a TUE application nor the approval of a TUE, and the completion of the TUE Assistant form does not imply the submission of a TUE application. It remains the athlete's responsibility to ensure that they complete the TUE application process that is specific to their sport, competition level, and medical treatment, in accordance with the applicable regulations of their International Federation and/or National Anti-Doping Agency.
For further information or specific inquiries regarding TUE requirements, including any doubts about the TUE Assistant's results, please contact ITA at: [email protected]
