The Fédération Internationale de Hockey (English: International Hockey Federation), commonly known by the acronym FIH, is the international governing body of field hockey and indoor field hockey. Its headquarters are in Lausanne, Switzerland. FIH, founded in 1924, is responsible for field hockey’s major international tournaments, notably the World Cup. The FIH is recognised by the International Olympic Committee, as well as by the FIH’s 138 Members and the Continental Federations, as the sole ultimate governing body for the sport of Hockey throughout the world.
The ITA is supporting FIH with the delivery of their anti-doping program since July 2020.
