The Sport Integrity Commission Te Kahu Raunui (the Commission) is responsible for keeping sport and recreation in Aotearoa New Zealand clean, safe and fair.
The Commission is an independent crown entity established under the Integrity Sport and Recreation Act 2023, which replaced the Sports Anti-Doping Act 2006. The Integrity Sport and Recreation Act charges the Commission with protecting and enhancing integrity in sport and recreation. This includes the responsibility to implement and apply integrity codes and the World Anti-Doping Code in New Zealand.
Funded by the New Zealand Government, the Commission is accountable to the Minister for Sport and Recreation and the New Zealand Government.
