The ITA acknowledges CAS ADD decision sanctioning wrestler Zurabi Datunashvili for anti-doping rule violations

THE ANTI-DOPING DIVISION OF THE COURT OF ARBITRATION FOR SPORT (CAS ADD) HAS RULED THAT WRESTLER ZURABI DATUNASHVILI (SERBIA) COMMITTED ANTI-DOPING RULE VIOLATIONS BY USING A PROHIBITED METHOD (URINE SUBSTITUTION) AND TAMPERING (USING FABRICATED EVIDENCE) AND SANCTIONED THE ATHLETE WITH 5 YEARS OF INELIGIBILITY AND DISQUALIFICATION OF ALL RESULTS OBTAINED FROM 27 MAY 2021. DATUNASHVILI HAS APPEALED PARTS OF THE DECISION BEFORE THE CAS APPEAL DIVISION.
