The team has been carefully selected and trained, and they represent different corners of the globe, a variety of sports and a broad range anti-doping experiences. They embody everything the ITA stands for – integrity, excellence and equality – and also have expertise in key areas such as athlete representation, whistleblowing, social science research and other sport ethics and integrity matters. Most importantly, the majority of the ITA Education Ambassadors were high-performance athletes and have powerful personal stories to share with the global sport community.

“Our educators are an extension of the core ITA team – they are the clean sport ambassadors who represent our organisation and our partners” says Olya Abasolo OLY, the ITA Education Senior Manager. “Many of them were international-level athletes themselves, and they fully understand the challenges of the anti-doping system. It is their passion for fellow athletes and for clean sport that makes them such an integral part of the larger ITA team.”
