The ITA provided valuable insights into the complexities of the anti-doping rules, explaining them one by one. The importance of athletes keeping their whereabouts up to date and helpful tips were provided for timely and accurate submissions. Athletes were also reminded to check medications and supplements against the prohibited list to avoid potential consequences. Moreover, the upcoming changes for the 2024 Prohibited List and the importance of staying informed were also stressed.
Attendees also heard from the ITTF’s Head of Integrity about the critical areas concerning match-fixing and competition manipulation.
