With Tokyo 2020 just weeks away, this month we focussed on the Olympic Games Anti-Doping program, and in particular, testing.
With 6,000 samples due to be collected before and during the Games, we discussed the athlete perspective of this huge operation.
We covered what to expect during the Doping Control Process, Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs) and Results Management, as well as new technology such as paperless sample collection and the TUE app.
Joining the ITA’s Head of Testing, Matteo Vallini, was Dr YaYa Yamamoto from JADA, the Japan Anti-Doping Agency. YaYa told us about JADA’s plans for Tokyo 2020, including the “Play True 2020”, campaign and how athletes can get involved.
We are pleased to deliver these webinars in English with simultaneous translation to four additional languages – العربي, español, français, русский.
