Therefore, the ITA created an online learning experience in order to continue its education efforts during the COVID-19 crisis. Our webinar series aims at giving athletes and their support personnel an overview of all aspects of the doping control system. Due to popular demand, the International Testing Agency has decided to make its entire webinar series publicly available to the broader sports community. Please find the topics and dates of the whole series further below.
The second session of the webinar series will focus on the Doping Control process. Marko Petric, an experienced Doping Control Officer and international-level judoka, will explain the urine sample collection process. Lara Santi is also a seasoned Doping Control and Blood Collection Officer and she will cover the blood sample collection process. Marc Mundell will provide an athlete perspective, sharing his experiences and tips for athletes and their entourage. Marc is a two-time Olympian in race walking from South Africa.
