ITA Education Ambassador empowers athletes with anti-doping education at ISMF World Cup Final

Florence kicked things off with an engaging clean sport education presentation, drawing in a diverse audience of about 50 athletes and athlete support personnel.

From the principle of strict liability to the ins and outs of athletes’ rights and responsibilities in anti-doping, no stone was left unturned. The session was not only informative but also interactive, with attendees challenged to test their knowledge on in-competition period, on medications and on the complexities of supplements.

The following day, participants eagerly gathered at Florence’s clean sport education booth, enthusiastic to delve deeper into the anti-doping topic. Visitors had the opportunity for hands-on engagement with the doping control process. From educational pocket guides to interactive activities, there was something there for everyone.

And while not every athlete left the World Cup Final adorned with a medal, each visitor to the clean sport booth departed with important knowledge, a smile on their face and a delightful little goodie.
