The International Testing Agency (ITA) is leading an independent anti-doping program for the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 on behalf of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). This program is supported by the ITA’s Intelligence & Investigations (I&I) Department’s comprehensive anti-doping intelligence activities. These intelligence activities are guided by the Intelligence Collection Plan (ICP), which outlines the ITA’s I&I Department’s targeting, intelligence collection and processing efforts for Beijing 2022. This includes efficient collaboration on information sharing with all relevant organisations that may enhance the effectiveness of the Beijing 2022 anti-doping intelligence program.
A core element of the ICP is the collection and processing of intelligence inputs from core partner agencies, specifically those members of the ITA’s Beijing 2022 Intelligence Task Force (ITF). The core mechanism for ITF members to share intelligence with the ITA’s I&I Department in the lead-up to and during the Games is via the ITA’s dedicated online reporting form. This form provides a simple-to-use vector for provision of reporting to ITA I&I officers in a secure and timely fashion.
All information received from ITF partners via this form will be independently triaged, assessed and coordinated with existing intelligence holdings before being actioned by the ITA I&I Department, in conjunction with appropriate internal ITA Departments, in the efficient and confidential manner one would expect of a trusted I&I partner.
Thank you for trusting the ITA I&I Department with your information and helping us to keep sport real.
