“As a four-time Olympian, I have seen and experienced first-hand the pressure that is put on athletes to perform at their best when it matters the most. The temptation to reach for a stimulant is real but completely unnecessary. I have been lucky to have a phenomenal medical team throughout my career that educated me on the topic of clean and fair sport. Sport is so much more than a competition, it’s a life lesson. I was fortunate to grow up in such an environment. My passion is unlimited and goes beyond just sport. That is the reason I want to educate others on the topic of clean sport, so they can benefit from unforgettable and life-changing experiences. We are more than athletes, we are humans! As an ITA Ambassador, I hope to positively influence and educate youth athletes to perform clean on and off the playing field.”
