The Slovak Anti-doping Agency is an independent legal entity functioning in form of a state-funded institution with specific subject field established under the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic on January 1st 2009. The primary mission of the agency is to protect the identity of sport as a phenomenal human activity, help to sustain the right of sportsmen to engage in sports without doping and by this promote health, fair-play and equality of opportunities for all. The Slovak Anti-doping Agency (SADA) cooperates on harmonization, coordination and collaboration of anti-doping programmes on national and international level with respect to control, prevention and protection against doping. For this purpose SADA will set-up complex anti-doping regulations in compliance with the sporting and technical standards, national legislation and the World Anti-Doping Code.
The ITA is collaborating with NADA Austria on the basis of an agreement with the Central European Anti-Doping Organization (CEADO) signed in January 2021.
