The Tribunal found the rider guilty of an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) due to three whereabouts failures committed within a 12-month period, in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code and the UCI Anti-Doping Rules.
The period of ineligibility began on 23 April 2025 and will remain in effect until 22 October 2026.
The decision was rendered by the UCI Anti-Doping Tribunal, which is responsible for adjudicating asserted ADRVs under the UCI’s rules. The decision will be published on the UCI website in accordance with the Tribunal’s procedural rules. It may be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) within one month.
While the ITA is responsible for the independent implementation of the anti-doping program in cycling, the UCI retains authority for results management and the prosecution of Anti-Doping Rule Violations (ADRVs), including the conduct of disciplinary proceedings before the UCI Anti-Doping Tribunal.
As the matter is concluded, no further comments will be made.
