The IWUF 10th Sanda World Cup, held from 5 to 10 April 2025 at the Culture and Sports Indoor Stadium in Jiangyin, brought together nearly 170 elite Wushu athletes from around the world. From 7 to 9 April, the ITA, in collaboration with the International Wushu Federation (IWUF), delivered a clean sport education booth on-site to promote anti-doping awareness and education.
The booth was hosted by ITA Education Ambassador Janice Lyn, who engaged with a diverse group of visitors over the three days. Reflecting on the experience, Janice shared: “It was encouraging to see a diverse mix of athletes, coaches and other visitors actively participating. I particularly appreciated how some coaches guided their athletes through the scenarios and even took part in the activities themselves.”
The booth’s hands-on activities made it easy for visitors to ask questions and learn in a practical way. Key topics that sparked interest included the importance of speaking up and how to report doping, understanding anti-doping rule violations, real-life scenarios and the use of supplements.
This clean sport education booth highlights the strong collaboration between the ITA and IWUF to build a strong clean sport culture — helping athletes make confident, informed choices and stay true to the values of fair play.
