The ITA reports that the Mexican triathlete Tomás Rodríguez Hernández has accepted a 2-year period of ineligibility as a consequence of his anti-doping rule violation

The International Testing Agency (ITA) on behalf of IRONMAN reports that Tomás Rodríguez Hernández, a triathlete from Mexico, has been sanctioned with a two-year period of ineligibility for an anti-doping rule violation (“ADRV”) under Article 2.1 of the IRONMAN Anti-Doping Rules (“IRONMAN ADR”) for the Presence of Clomifene.

¹Pursuant to the IRONMAN ADR and World Anti-Doping Code, a two-year period of Ineligibility is the default sanction for an ADRV for the Presence of a specified substance, such as Clomifene.
